Many teachers have commented about Pacing Guides. Some find them helpful, others say they too restrictive and take away felxibility. What is your opinion?

The pacing guides are extrememly helpful. They help to make sure you are getting in everything that is going to be on the DCA's. I love how detailed they are this year and how they include all the additional topics that investigations does not cover!
Too restrictive! Especially in math. We need to have more flexibility to reteach concepts and accomodate for differeing learning styles.
